SUAME MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY BUSINESS ADVISORY CENTER (BAC) JOB CREATION AND SUPPORT 2024.
The business advisory center organized three (3) training programmes within the year. All were skills training programmes, mainly geared towards establishment of new businesses and job creation. The centre adopted a strategy of selecting committed participants. Some of these participants have begun practicing the skills they acquired and it has translated into the creation of new businesses and jobs for themselves and others, as envisaged.
Businesses and Jobs Created after Municipality Entrepreneurship Training
A total number of participants trained is two hundred (200). Out of this number, one hundred and eighty-six (186) has been supported with startup kits in collaboration with Mastercard foundation business in the box project, and fourteen (14) have been also supported through the Municipality Local Economic Development (LED) programme in order to support and promote the Local Economic Development. We look forward to employing others to assist in their respective jobs.
Provision of Support and Start-Up Kits
In total, there were two hundred (200) individual start-up kits beneficiaries to promote local economic growth in the municipality.
