Through the World Bank Facility dubbed Ghana Secondary Cities Support Program being implemented by the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development supported the redevelopment of the market into ultra-modern market.

The new facilities are made up of a total of 65 Open Sheds, 130 Lockable Stores, Police Post and First Aid Block with a 20 seater water closet toilet facilities access road with streetlights. The open space is expected to be paved.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
