ACTIVITY REPORT ON TEENAGE PREGNANCY AT KRONUM ON THE 13TH SEPTEMBER, 2024.
TEENAGE PREGNANCY
Officers of Social Welfare and Community Development of Suame Municipal Assembly(SMA) on engaged students of St. John of the Cross JHS on what teenage pregnancy is, its causes, effects and preventions on the 13th September, 2024 at Kronum at 10am.
Officers explained what teenage pregnancy is and mentioned peer pressure, family influence, broken homes, lack of information reproductive health, rape, early marriages etc as some of the causes of teenage pregnancy.
One hundred and twenty-five (125) students were engaged, out of which sixty-eight (68) were females and fifty-seven (57) were males.
