INSPECTION OF NEWLY FUEL STATION FLOODED AT MAAKRO by S.M.A NADMO

A joint inspection organiser by EPA to ascertain the flood reported to the office of a newly fuel station which has been constructed close to a drain at Maakro new road bridge.

After the inspection findings:

  1. No drain constructed within the vicinity of the fuel station
  2. Blocked small drain from passing around the fuel station.
  3. No chamber for the free flow of water from the magazine to the main drain
  4. Land used for the fuel station swampy area of which is a clay.

FIRE OUTBREAK ASSESSMENT AT BREMAN WEST SCHOOL FEEDING KITCHEN.

The details of a fire outbreak which occurred at Bremang West School M/A (Agogosu) school feeding kitchen on 11th August, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.

Damages are bags of rice, cartons of tin tomatoes, gallon of oil, bags of beans, onion, rubber bowls and entire kitchen got burnt. this incidence was inspected by The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) of Suame Municipal Assembly (S.M.A.)

GHANA JOBS AND SKILLS PROJECT (GJASP)-BAC

The Government of Ghana with a support from the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) and the Suame Business Advisory Center (BAC) organized formulation and implementation of youth support program in the municipality.

This project was organized in three stages of Basic, Intermediate and Advanced level. Beneficiaries were presented a certificate at each level and Advance participants are yet to receive a start-up grant.

The framework of national policy of Ghana Jobs and skills project was sponsored by World Bank.

The department also encourages and reports on implementation of policies and matters relating to local economic development projects.
