The financiers (The World Bank) of the Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area Sanitation and Water Project paid a working visit to Andrews Adventist Preparatory and JHS and Adadiem M\/A Basic School on Tuesday 10th<\/sup> October 2023 to familiarize themselves with the status of ongoing wash facilities in the municipality. The visit also afforded the team the opportunity to interact with the key stakeholders in the project on proper ways to sustain the facilities to ensure that the facilities live up to their expected life span.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team was made up of the staff of the project Coordinating Unit of the project, the staff of the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources, the management staff of the beneficiary schools, Project team from Suame Municipal Assembly, the Contractors, the Municipal Director of Education and his SHEP coordinator as well as some members of the schools\u2019 Parent Teacher Associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The World Bank Team was satisfied with the kind of craftsmanship at both Andrews Adventist Preparatory and JHS and Adadiem M\/A Basic School at Maakro and Tarkwa respectively<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The World Bank team together with the other Stakeholders also visited household toilets beneficiaries at Kwapra and interacted with some of the household toilet beneficiaries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
