The New Suame Division Park in the Suame Municipality of Ashanti Region is to be transformed in to a synthetic pitch popularly called \u2018AstroTurf \u2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It was initiated by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame Constituency, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu and sponsored by the Ghana Gas Company.<\/p>\n

The project is expected to be completed in six (6) months and being undertaken by a local contractor \u2018\u2019Best Limited\u2019\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the sod cutting ceremony on Sunday, 20th<\/sup> February, 2022, the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Gas Company, Dr. Benjamin. K.D. Asante<\/p>\n

Dr. Benjamin. K.D. Asante stressed their determination to continue to be supportive of national projects.<\/p>\n

Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu (MP) said the project was dear to his heart to ensure the development of football and other sports-related disciplines.<\/p>\n

He commended Ghana Gas Company for responding positively to the request made for the construction of the project.<\/p>\n

According to Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, government would continue to be keen on developmental projects in the constituency as he mentioned the construction of roads among the lots.<\/p>\n

In attendance was the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Maxwell Ofosu Boakye, former Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dr. John Osei Bobie Boahen, Traditional Authorities, Assembly Members, Clergies, Officials from Ghana Gas and Heads of Departments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
