Festival<\/b>\u00a0(alternate,\u00a0<b>Akwasiadae<\/b>) is celebrated by the\u00a0Ashanti people\u00a0and chiefs in\u00a0Ashanti,\u00a0as well as the Ashanti\u00a0diaspora.<sup id=\"cite_ref-FOOTNOTEOpokuwaa200592_2-0\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup>\u00a0The festival is celebrated on a Sunday, once every six weeks.\u00a0The Akwasidae Festival is next only in importance to The These include inherited ideas, beliefs, values, knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n<p>One dominant cultural practice in Suame is the celebration of the Akwasidae festival, which is celebrated by all Asantes. Since culture is dynamic, some practices of the people have undergone major changes over the years such as \u201cBragoro\u201d and as such has far reaching implications on development.
