Suame MCE Tours BECE centers

The Municipal Chief Executive of Suame Municipal Assembly, Hon. Dr. John Osei Bobie- Boahin visited some examination centers within the Suame Municipality to witness the 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination which kicked off on Monday, 10^th June, 2019 across the country.

Hon. Dr. John Osei Bobie- Boahin together with Mr. Abdul- Hussein A. Rasheed, the Ag. Municipal Coordinating Director and Mr. Addo Fordjour, the Ag. Municipal Director of Education toured these examination centers.

Among the examination centers the team visited included Angel Educational Complex, Bremang Methodist JHS and Kronum DA JHS where the Municipal Chief Executive had some words of motivation and encouragement for the pupils before they sat for their examination and. The Municipal Chief Executive counselled them to take the examination serious and eschew all forms of examination malpractices.

The Municipal Chief Executive entreated the pupils to put off their best as free senior high school policy introduced by the Government awaits them. Although he expressed his concern at the number of candidates who absented themselves from the Basic Examination Certificate Examination(BECE) in the Municipality, he showed extreme satisfaction with the conduct and sitting arrangements of pupils for the examination.
